Failed after 2 weeks

Purchase at your own risk! Purchase this just under two weeks ago and already have things melting inside at the coldest setting. The earliest they can get a representative technician out to me as a week!!! This replaced a 30-year-old freezer that was only starting to have trouble and the idea was to spend $1,000 to avoid losing $2,000. There is no food spoilage coverage with frigidaire's warranty so good luck to all!

Things I like about my new Frigidaire freezer include the design of the spacious inside with the light location and the adjustable glass shelves. I also like the sleek design and location of the temperature control on the front of the unit. I like having the tiny light on the front that tells me if our house has lost electrical power. I like that the unit will keep things frozen for quite awhile even if the house does lost power for very long.

Really like the freezer function on the outside door. It has a good amount of space but if I was to criticize anything, I would have preferred it to have deeper shelving as opposed to being taller. Still a really nice product.

The model of the freezer was unique with the controls on the door which I like and find effective. The only comment I'd add would be if the same control on the door told me the internal temperature of the unit. You still have to open the door to make sure it is working as expected. :)

The new Frigidaire freezer arrived last night from Costco, and by this morning it was very cold and ready for the load of food our neighbors had been keeping for us when the 20-year-old one died. Now, about 2 hours after being loaded, the very handy temperature gauge shows that "Freeze Boost" is doing good work on stabilizing everything at normal, safe freezer temp. As I re-organized and reloaded everything, the size and shelving arrangement, with some additional wire baskets, make everything much easier to find and access than with our older unit. We're hoping to get at least 20 good years from this unit, and we know we'll be saving a lot of electricity.

This freezer had most of the features I was looking for. I thought it would display the internal temperature on the exterior door, but it only tells what level of cold. It has glass shelves inside and would have preferred wire to help increase air flow. I had to order it at the store and there weren™€™t any on the floor that were similar so we has to guess from the pictures on a computer screen. I have no concerns with its ability to work correctly

We needed more refrigerator & freezer space. We bought both the freezerless refrigerator & upright freezer. Both work great and couldn't beat the price compared to other models. Our only cons are, we can't put the right up against each other without a pairing kit which we found out after the fact, thankfully we have the space to separate them enough. We also wish there was another shelf or two to allow more storage

After having it for a couple of weeks, seems to be doing it's job. The alarm on the door is about useless though. Unless your standing right next to it, you will never hear it going off.The wide door shelves are nice. The self closing door is a nice adder. It runs constantly but is pretty quiet.

We bought a Frigidaire chest freezer before getting the upright. Upright just works better for us as it is easy to see everything unlike a chest. Upright is also easier for baked goods since it has shelves for the baking trays.

My 20 cu ft. Frigidaire freezer was delivered weeks ago. I like the design very much, and it operates GREAT! The interior is well-lit which makes it easy to find what I am looking for. On the door, and at about eye level, there is a temperature indicator which confirms that the freezer is operating at a HIGH COOL temp. I like this feature very much as I don't go in the freezer every day; it would alert me if something was wrong, if somehow it stopped working. I went from a 16 cu ft to a 20 cu ft, and I am glad I did; its more roomy. I'll be honest, I love finding great buys where I can stock up. This large freezer allows me to do just that, which saves me lots of $$$. In addition, I love that it is frost free; the freezer it replaced was not, and what a chore to defrost it each year. No more of that freezer frost buildup; that will be one else chore for me. This is my second purchase of a Frigidaire appliance, my first was a dryer, which I bought nearly 40 years ago; it lasted about 30 years, served me very well. I could have probably had it fixed, but after 30 years, I simply replaced it. I expect that same high quality from this freezer. I am VERY pleased with this purchase. The freezer temp is ICE COLD, seems to be operating superbly. I could not ask for more.

Frigidaire 20 CU FT Upright Freezer was Bought on May 23rd,2024 from Spencer TV and Appliance in Phoenix, after 10 days red light keeps on coming. I called Electrolux customer service. No response and finally on July 16th Electrolux send a technician who identified that the heating element was defective and needs to replace. Part was ordered to be arrived at my home in 4 days but not received as of July 30, 2024! we lost lots of food. I purchased brand new freezer needed new part/parts and no guarantee when it will arrive! poor quality, very poor customer service. Our Utility company informed me that our electric bill was spiked over 250 KW/H and had concern. please do not buy Frigidaire Freezer. I'm filing complaint with FTC and State of Arizona Governor General Office.

I love how open this freezer is. It makes it very easy to see everything at once, even all the way in the back. My previous upright had a bottom door with a really deep basket, perfect for losing things. This is so much better. Also, it has a temperature indicator on the outside, so I don™€™t need to worry about having to move things to find it inside the unit. It also looks nice with the stainless accents.
