Frigidaire Failed On So Many Levels

I purchased over the range microwave from Lowes and the microwave never worked straight out of the box. By the time my person was able to install it, it was past the 48 hours return policy, therefore, I had to contact Frigidaire for manufacturer warranty coverage. Let's just say Frigidaire failed on so many levels that I will never purchase another Frigidaire product again. I know they can careless just by the service I've received thus far. They sent out a 3rd party repair technician and he said it would be 3 weeks before I get the parts. I called Frigidaire to let them know I don't feel like I should have to wait for a brand new microwave I purchased never been used that I spent my money on. Why should I have to be inconvenienced for their faulty product. The customer service agent said he would call the repair company to escalate getting the parts for him. Well that never happened. I waited 2 weeks I called the repair company asked him if he received the parts yet, he said no. That's when I asked if Frigidaire called about the parts, he said no. I called Frigidaire the customer service rep didn't see the notes about anything other than they sent out a repair company. I asked about the parts he then said the ticket was closed, I asked who closed it, he said the repair company. I told him I just got off the phone with him he didn't mention anything about that. So now this has been a good month now and still no microwave. It keeps going on and on and right now today I have no microwave or my money back. I purchased this January 17, 2025 and yes it's April 17, 2025. I've spoken to many reps and 2 supervisors. And then last rep said I need to call different department, Master Technician department because the repair company they sent out said it's not repairable. I spoke to a rep that claimed her name was MC, she said she didn't see the diagnosis report from the repair company and I spoke to him before I called them, so I know he sent it. Then she goes on to tell me she is going to schedule an in-house technician, and her reason was she didn't think the company they sent out probably didn't know how to work on Frigidaire products. I asked then why would you even send such a company to repair something. I demanded my money back or an exchange she kept insisting on scheduling in-house technician. Ow I've had enough, I asked for supervisor she said they're all in a meeting I asked for a manager she said in a meeting. She said she will have them call me back, I said no, I've been down that road couple times with this. I asked for corporate number she said she one moment and HUNG UP ON ME!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT! I can just by this whole thing has been handled from the very start. Frigidaire, you're a big corporation that has set low business practices for your employees to your products. And a big company not willing to refund my money or replace the microwave is sad on your part. $400 that is nothing to Frigidaire but that's a lot for me. The time and aggravation I put into this is crazy. I know this is long but this is couple months worth of problems. I hope this helps someone else to think twi e before they purchase a Frigidaire product. And I loved Frigidaire. Smh.

Just purchased this microwave based on reputation and feature set. My wife and I really like the black stainless steel. It gives the appliance a bit of an upscale look. All in all a great purchase. The only thing I feel would be nice is the ability to turn down the brightness of the clock display. It is really bright when all the lights are off in the kitchen. Our Frigidaire double oven has this capability. Not sure why it isn't a standard feature.

Replaced a Samsung with this. Much quieter than the Samsung, both when cooking and running the fan. I thought it had a soften butter option, but only has a melt butter function. The only thing I miss about the Samsung so far. The vent fan motor seems louder on medium and low speeds than on high speed. Overall very pleased with my purchase.
