Beautiful but Terrible Quality!!

We've had this microwave oven for about 4 years. We've had it to order a replacement pan twice as the metal on the wheels keeps melting the plastic wheels and causing sparks during use. It's also stopped working three different times for various reasons. Luckily we were able to have it repaired the first two times (one being just a sensor issue) but it is currently not working again and the repairman it was the magnetron which is estimated to cost $600+ to fix. With all of the issues we've had from this one appliance so far, we do not want to sink any more money into it for it to break down again in the future. Two stars given because when it works, it's great! I love the look and functionality of it but the quality is terrible especially for the high price tag.

Arc from turn table.

Bought this to match the kitchen appliances. 1 year and 8 days bought the extended warranty and no one will cover the turn table that is arcing in the microwave. These little plastic pieces melt then start to arc. Now they want 212 to replace it. To then be done again. How about they really fix the issue.

Shortly after install of our Frigidaire Professional microwave it began to have sparking from the turntable. I swapped it with another turntable of the same type (previous one ordered was damaged in shipment but we had the turntable) thinking it was an isolated incident, I was wrong. We had a paper towel on the on the ceramic plate and it caught fire from the sparks. I have been using microwave repair paint on the wheels which temporarily stops the sparking. Frigidaire needs to recall these turntables and provide replacements, not charge us $200 + for an issue they knew about.

Failed Turntable Motor after 3 weeks of use.

Owning a new built in microwave, only 3 weeks old, the turntable motor sounded as though loose marbles were int it. The motor was replaced and currently working as it should. Hard to believe this motor would fail after just 3 weeks. It was replaced under waranty.

If I could give zero stars it would not be low enough. We purchased the whole line of Frigidaire Professional series appliances for our new home. We absolutely love the look of the appliances, however when we received our appliances for our home, the microwave door was damaged from the manufacturer. This was reported and a new door was shipped to us for replacement. Upon receipt of the door it was noticed one of the latches was sticking out of the box. When the service person arrived to put the new door on, it was damaged in the same area as the original door, plus the latch was also bent and could not be replaced and the microwave will not even start. We have been in our home since January 2024 and still do not have a working microwave with no resolve insight. Almost 4 months into this nightmare with this company that could care less. We get nothing but the run around on this issue. We have gone back to the company we purchased from, and they say they are getting the same run around, no action customer service we are. As much as we love our appliances, at this point I would never own another Frigidaire appliance. They give two craps less about you as a consumer and the fact you spent your hard earned money to buy their products. If you are considering this product or this manufacturer, forget them and go with a company and brand that will actually care about you, about the fact you trusted their product and you spent your hard earned money to fatten their pocket. A simple resolve would be to ship a new microwave to the dealer and have the old one removed. It would make a great reef in the ocean.

Fuse fails - known issue by company

We got our unit in 2020 and it has broken 2 times! Both times the fuse blew, which has resulted in a $250+ repair and a 2 week+ wait to get it back to operable. The tech said we should expect this part to go bad every 3-5 years and says it's common and one of the only repairs that he does on this unit. They should include that with the sales pitch! In a previous home we had a comparable KitchenAid unit which worked perfectly well for us for 5 years (until we moved). We either had good luck with that unit, maybe we have a lemon with this unit (or else it's just inferior quality). Unsure which, but if their techs say to expect it to fail every 3-5 years, that should be known by all before spending so much money on it! I would not recommend this product.

Total garbage. I bought the entire Frigidaire Pro line of appliances when remodeling my home, and paid extra for extended warranties. Since installation in Dec 2019, the microwave has been inoperable >50% of the time, with at least 8 service calls. It is currently inoperable and has been so since June of 2023. Almost every part in the unit has been replaced, in some cases a couple of times. Parts are unavailable or take forever to arrive; then, don't work once installed. At what point does the manufacturer/servicer/warrantor replace the unit? It's a rhetorical question; the answer is "never." This is a garbage product that the manufacturer, distributor, and servicer won't stand behind and they clearly don't care about the customer after the sale is complete. I will never buy Frigidaire again, and I suggest that you steer clear as well.

LOVE our new Frigidaire Gallery microwave oven!

We are SO pleased with our new Frigidaire Gallery microwave! It™€™s taller and bigger inside so it holds our styrofoam coffee cups better than our old one! Plus, it™€™s a separate unit from our regular oven, which was a HUGE selling point, because our last microwave (not a Frigidaire brand) was an all in one with our wall oven. The built- in microwave broke after only 2.5 years and cost $860 to fix!! It was either fix it or spend $3,500 to $4,000 for an entire new unit! Also, this microwave heats things up much more quickly than our old one!

Faulty metal plate. No alternatives

Great microwave however the black metal plate is sparking at the wheels and the fitted bottom that meets the turner. It has been on backorder forever and frigidaire doesn't have a cross referenced glass plate the will fit and work w/ the turn table. At least one that they can id. Has anyone found a glass alternative that will spin?

We couldn't be more pleased with this speed microwave. It is much quieter than our old unit, and very handsome. It has all the functionally and style you could want. We replaced our old built in microwave, and this one was just about an inch taller. I cut the top of the cabinet and swapped out the 15 amp receptacle for a 20 amp (on a 20 amp breaker) and we were good to go! Matches the wall oven very nicely.
