Absolutely, love this washer dryer combo! It™™s a work horse. It™™s a perfect space saver for closets. Does a great job cleaning clothing and drying. Never had an issue. I just bought our son this for his new house as a house warming gift. You can™™t go wrong!

We™™ve had the same washing machine for nine years now it has not broken down on us not once we haven™™t had any problems with it being too loud and it™™s very functional. It gets the work done. We™™ve never had any problems at all. It™™s also very quiet.

I live with 2 other, and we like the machine however the super capacity fills only 4". Can't wash any blankets. Sometimes it only fills a few inches. I check the setting...thinking it was on small. Nope.. it was on super. I called Peterborough Appliance, and he said there's "Nothing" he can do, it's supposed to be like that. My friend has a beautiful Whirlpool top load, clear lid, it did the same. She told them to "Come and get out". Strangely enough...the technician gave in and adjusted her machine.

Worst appliance I™™ve ever owned. Got the 5 year extended warranty and had it worked on constantly. Finally the warranty folks said we reached our appliance lifetime maximum. I didn™™t realize there was such a thing.
I had a bad experience with GE washer /dryer before but I figured how could I go wrong? Now I™™m paying to fix it and looking for a nice Samsung or some such.

The dryer will stop and leave your clothes wet and won™™t start again until the dryer cools completely off . This product is designed for failure and will never recommend using it. 0/5

Pros- Sturdy, no rocking or banging when spinning, has agitator to get clothes clean better, has off button in case of drainage spill which is important with old pipes, works great. Cons- scale for auto wash makes funny noise when changing cycles whether or not using auto wash. Not an issue for most but noticeable when the machine is in the kitchen/dining room. I™™ll live with it since it all works perfectly fine.

I bought the 3.9 cu washer 4.5 cu dryer combo tower. It is reasonably priced, space saving, easy installation, strong stability on a floating floor, average noise during washing but quicker wash time than my previous unit, and quiet dryer. The washer easily handles a king comforter. I installed yesterday but have tried most of the cycles and am happy with the results. I have other GE appliances that have stayed reliable over time so I truly hope for the same with this unit. I recommend this washer dryer combo.

The only reason I am giving ANY stars is that we have enjoyed the efficiency of this stack unit for the past five years. HOWEVER the bearings have gone out and seal broke so the repair is more than the cost of a new. I don™™t know about you, but I do NOT like having to buy a whole new set of washer/dryers every five years! And having to pay $125 to find out!! Will NOT buy a stack again that is all in one. Buyer beware™¦

I have always had a stacker but this model us the worst by far. Have gone to small loads and clear soap and max wash and clothes still come out with new stains every time. Very disappointed

So far this is a good washer and dryer. This is my second one first one was out of balance, and the tub seemed to just tear itself apart. I always had an issue with the balance, even on a very small load. I love the size and the fact that they™™re stacked. I have a very small laundry room. I was able to call Home Depot and have a set delivered in time. I™™m hoping that this machine will last and hoping there will be no problems so far so good seems to not have a problem with balance.

As with a number of the other reviewers, we keep getting black grease marks on our clothes and sheets. It™™s ruined far too many items for us to keep it. Going to replace even though unit it only a few years old as the repair doesn™™t do anything.

Bought this stackable washer dryer for 90 year old mom. Used infrequently and just told by service team we need to replace computer board. Which is only sold in a kit with a motor so it cost $600. Only choice now is to buy a new machine. Very unhappy.

This model is terrible, I can see why they're no longer producing it. I just had the repair guy out and he said he's seen this problem with this model: when set to the "large" load, water fills all the way to the top and when the spin cycle starts, light items (ie underwear, socks) spill over the top and into the side of the unit. In my unit, the transmission clutch and the control board need to be replaced....to the tune of $650-$800. Only to probably have to make the same type of repair in a few years. What a disappointment!

This machine was bought by a friend of mine, I got it from him for 100$ a really good deal, he had no problems with it. Here we are 4 years later. Its leaking, but the machine ran like a champ for over 10 years without a problem and was moved from on place to another 3 times. I got it cheap cause he didnt want to move it. too big, but this stackable works great for me. I just noticed the leak and Im going to remove the tub and see if its the seals. Replace that and see what happens. Its a great machine, no problems whatsoever in 10 years, thats pretty good. so I give it 5 stars, the ease at getting into the mechanics of this machine is pretty good too.

This dryer grabs items above the door and doesn™™t release until pulled out, usually takes a very hard jerk. Item stays put and burns or rips the item. My bad for putting up with it. Too late for repair or replacement. Unit purchased because of it™™s size.

I purchase this unit in 2017 and after only 2 was of use we started getting black marks on sheets and clothing. We are only seasonal use residents so the machine only gets used 3 -4months per year . We have had multiple service calls with glide replacements etc but the problem continues. I™™m reading reviews where others have similar problems. When will GE deal with this and stop denying a problem exists!

I bought this machine in June 2017. The washer stopped working about four weeks ago, it wouldn't move on to the spin cycle. The repair man (from the appliance dealer) has been out several times. He's replaced the lid lock and some other parts inside. It worked for two loads this week after being "fixed" last Thursday and then stopped working again. I see all of the previous reviews about this machine and I have had the same issues - dark grease lines on my sheets, items getting caught in the drum and now this non-spinning washer. I have a GE appliance repair coming next Tuesday. I'm wondering if he will fix it or if it will be an extended warranty sales call. One thing is for sure, I will never buy another GE product.

Size wise this unit is great and is perfect for small spaces. Unfortunately after 6 months the dryer started leaving black marks on my clothes. I had both the drum and another part replaced by a GE service man and after 2 weeks the black marks started again. Very disappointed.

For all of you complaining about greasy stains, did you read the manual? I had the same problem until I found out you have dilute your fabric softener and always use the Burst Rinse when using fabric softener. I am disappointed that there is no chime or buzzer to let you know when the cloths are done. I also do not like that the knob doesnt return to the off position when the washer is done.

Today: 10-6-2020, Purchased: 8-29-2016. Trouble is: Wash and Spin lights are blinking and the On light is constantly On, the washer will not work and the troubleshooting guide in this manual is not helpful. I'm trying to avoid calling a repairman. I turned off the breaker to the appliance and back on and afer a minute, that didn't help, the plug is located behind the unit and I can't get to it without pulling out the unit, does it make a difference pulling plug vs turning off breaker?. I own several rental properties with the same machine and no problem. I'm wishing a GE person can give me some idea what this problem might be. Can you please help me, If I get the help needed, I will continue using GE products for my 8 rental properties. My ratings are for this 1 particular washer/dryer combo..... It lasted 5 years just before my extended warranty is due to run out. The washer is now ruining my expensive shirts with grease stains on them after a wash cycle. Customer service is the worst getting someone to answer the phone. I tried 3 times with waiting about a hour then I hung up the phone. Not sure if I will be able to ever get through?

This is a great combo for a small apartment or condo, like ours. Capacity is good but you must respect the size. Tried to wash a queen comforter last night and the coating from the pod was still all over it, so not enough movement to fully dissolve it. Other smaller items come clean as long as you don™™t overload. Dryer is strong and quiet, and like the convenient lint catcher design. Overall nice compact unit.

This unit is 4 years old. There was an issue with the dryer causing ™pulls™ of threads in towels when new. GE did repair it with no consideration to all the clothes ruined.
The repair person pushed to sell a warranty, which I didn™™t think I needed, and now the washer broken. It is making loud squeaking sounds in wash cycle.
The unit was only used once or twice a month.
Expected quality from GE, sadly, not there.

Product hasn™™t worked once, shuts the breaker off. Paid two different electricians to look over the likes and breaker for this unit, it runs totally on its own. The first time someone came out it too an extra two weeks for them to order a part that they didn™™t even need, just assumed they needed it and waited for that to come. Still was broken when they left, and had another electrician come out then. Said it was fine in the house it has to be the washer . Called ge cares back and got hung up on, called again and they set me up for Tuesday. No one showed Tuesday because I didn™™t reply to a email asking if I had covid 19 or not, I don™™t. Then the day they came a week later after they are supposed to, GE cares had taken down my address wrong and sent them to a different state. Not sure how they got my address wrong after already sending people here, and I had it delivered here from their company. This is absurd, I will never buy a GE product again and plan to persuade others to do the same.

Our Unit is unreliable. Breaks weekly. Service people are incompetent as measured by their inability to fix our unit and keep it running. After one service call it broke moments after. At some points it's been down for multiple (>4 weeks)This has led us not to purchase anything with a GE label on it or buy from Home Depot . Lots of alternatives from both a product and retailer perspective.
