Range works well. It lights easily and quickly. I haven't had a top like this before, it doubles as a cooling rack which is nice. I do miss the solid top though when I go to place things on top of it.

It was easy to set up and convert to propane. The clock seems to loose time:( Not sure what that™™s about. The oven comes up to temp in about 5 minutes:). We™™ll be cooking Thanksgiving dinner in it tomorrow:)

I needed a stove that was basic. I had a stove that had all the bells and whistles, and it didnt last but a couple years. I have found that this stove is perfect for our families needs. The oven and broiler are exactly what I was looking for as far as function and capacity. I would recommend this stove if you want a stove for functionality and not all the fancy doo dads.

The range works very well and we only have one issue. The grate above the burners get extremely hot during the cooking process. So hot that all our cookware handles are too hot to touch - this was not the case with our previous gas range.

I am absolutely excited about my new stove. When I moved to my apartment 29 years ago, the apartment was furnished with an 18 inch four burner stove. I don't want to be wasteful. I am not one to trash something for esthetics or convenience. I ran it into the ground and decided it was time for a new one.
I chose GE because I purchased a medium sized refrigerator a few years ago and it has served me well. GE has been around for years and I feel they produce quality products so decided to replace my old broken down stove with a new GE stove. I trust GE!
I am not disappointed. I decided to purchase the 30' mode. I am so excited...I have so much room on the stove top that I can now comfortably cook using 4 burners at the same time! The gas burners are fantastic with a smaller burner for a smaller flame. The other burners/flame diameters are larger so that it distributes the flame in a way that heats the cooking surface more evenly.
I also like the design of the stove top. The configuration of the stove is such that it has wonderful heavy metal grates that completely cover the stove top. It is very stable and in this way I don't have to worry about a pot or pan tipping over. My 18 inch stove had four individual grates at each burner that had a tendency to slip and slide around.
I am completely satisfied and excited about this purchase. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a 2500$ stove but if you are looking for quality at a very reasonable price, I don't think you will be disappointed.
The controls are conveniently located and provide great control of flame size. I also like with this upgrade that I now have electronic ignition and have rid myself of the pilot lights on the old stove.
I have made five loaves of bread in my oven and really enjoy using this oven. As far as I know, it reaches my pre-heat temperature quickly. I hung a newly purchased oven thermometer to see if it heated up to my desired temperature...and it did. I also like that it appears to have even heat distribution because each loaf of bread I baked came out evenly colored on each loaf.

I really like the configuration of the burners on this gas range, as well as the capacity of the oven. I also like the electronic controls. This is replacing a GE range that has lasted many years. The old one was still operational. It was just time for a new one.

I didn™™t need a range that talked to me or that tried to double as an air fryer or microwave or ™¦ and this one was exactly right. The only caution I have is that the knobs are rather loose & can turn on if they get gently bumped so you have to take care.

We had our oven installed, the installers left it to where it was NOT leveled to which i called GE to fix this, after being bounced around to 4 different people to assist me, we got a schedule date for them to rectify this situation. NOW HERES WHERE IT GOT BAD. After I set up the date I started to smell gas behind my oven. I called GE once again & was told "it is normal as you have to do the burn off", which I did in fact do after it was installed. I was not taken seriously as they wanted to send out the SAME people to "fix" it. It took GE well over an hour to call me back. Now please understand I also have a 2 year old daughter whom is at home. When I expressed this to them I felt as though I was not taken seriously. I called our plumber to come out & GUESS WHAT? THERE WAS A LEAK. The men who installed my oven USED OUR OLD GAS LINE, which if you read on this website it states they will NOT use old products or accessories. THEY LIED. Would I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY. but would I recommend GE install it? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! After my plumber was finished, GE refused to reimburse me for THEIR mistake because I refused to have the same people come back in to MY HOME. Will not be coming back to GE anytime soon.

ridiculous. some group of idiots in a boardroom thought people would be satisfied if they got a range where all it's features could not be used on it's first day. no broiler pan? what if that is what i was looking forward to? and for what? 25 bucks on the bottom line?
does it all work? sure. gas makes fire. oven gets hot. does it broil? it wants to, but the idiots in the boardroom won't let it.

Overall good product, could be a little more user friendly.
Oven is simple enough to use, but missing some features. First, the oven light does not come on when you open the door. It makes it impossible to see your food in a dark oven in a dark corner. You have to manually turn on the light from the control panel. Then, it's not easy to change the temperature setting while it's preheating. I don't use the timer or broiler, so those are wasted on me.
The range top controls are easy to use and responsive. But, could also use a tweak. When I'm cooking and want to turn something down to low, it would be very helpful if there was a stop on low. When you try to turn it down quickly like when your multitasking and something is down, it's not easy to turn straight to low. If you just twist the knob down, it shuts it off. A stop, or click, or something would make it much more convenient. It would also be nice if there was an easy way to switch the location of the high and simmer burners. The way I work and the layout of my kitchen would make having the high burner in the front left much more convenient than the front right. I believe there is a way to change it, but it doesn't appear to be convenient.

Very impressed with the two piece grill over four burners with space between to keep melted cheese, sauce, etc. warm while cooking on the burners. Six pans at once! The high btu front burner boils a big pot very quickly. The right rear simmers to perfection, the low setting similar to cooking over a candle, perfect for smallest pan. The two left burners are typical of gas range size. Oven controls are simple, There is a beeper for preheat temperature reached, and cook-time ended. The oven light is far better than previous stoves. Easy cleanup. Discharge heat from the stove-top and oven rise from the range top, not from the back, directly under the hood, avoiding a formerly greasy wall. Well done, GE

Overall the product is what I was looking for. The only two things I do not like about it is the broiler being in the bottom drawer (my previous one was inside the oven)which to check on your food you need to practically lay down to use. Secondly, there is waaaaaaaay too much heat that radiates through from the oven to the stove top. Hot enough to heat pots and pans on the stovetop where you can™™t touch them and Barry the knobs on the front.
