2nd service call in 2 weeks

No quality in GE products 7/4/2022

Oven is 5 weeks old and this is the 2nd service call in a week for the same issue. Top oven light turns on by itself and will not turn off. We have had to turn the oven off at the breaker for days until service repair can come out.

Swing door double ovens

Poor temperature control. I placed an oven thermometer in each oven to check the temperature. The temperature during the baking mode. I also attempted to use the convection mode & had to prolong each cooking time. I have addressed the issue with the seller & await a return call for a service appt. After waiting 9 months for this wall unit delivery I'm disappointed. For shorter individuals, the swing doors are a plus. One of the reasons I purchased this wall unit.

Love the side door opening!

I'm so happy to have my new ovens! Took 10 months to get, but am very happy with this purchase. The side door opening makes it so much easier to add/remove food from the oven. I don't know why ovens are not all made like this. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the door is a little hard to open. It takes some muscle to open it.

We love our new side open oven! It is both beautiful and functional and so far it has made us feel like we are better cooks! It is easy to use and with the side door opening - it is easy to check the food and get the food in and out without breaking our backs. We are still waiting on countertops and backsplash - but we have already been able to enjoy this oven as I am sure we will for years to come!

I purchased this oven because I am short & hate leaning over a hot door to pull things out of the oven. I also wanted an oven that does air fry. I love the functioning of this oven & would have given it 5 stars for that. What I do not like is that it must be attached to WiFi for some of the features to work & that it monitors thru an app what I am doing. What the heck does GE or anyone else need to know that for?? It's beautiful, does a splendid job of cooking but the Big Brother features I could really do without. If I had know that it was going to be required for it to have all of the expensive functions I would've passed.

I have been cooking for over 40 years with almost every kind of oven you can think of. This oven is by far the best. I was almost always burning myself on the upper double wall regular door oven. The side swing door is wonderful. Very easy to get heavy things in and out. Held the temperature to perfection. This is a must have oven!!
