Noisy dryer

Havent even had our machine for 2 months and it makes a rubbing/scraping noise any time it is on and the drum is going around. Someone has come out twice to look at it but LG states it has to be diagnosed with the same issue three times before it can be replaced. Honestly its been a nightmare but I imagine if it doesnt make abnormal noises it would be great. Not satisfied

Be careful if you want to side vent this dryer

We bought this dryer after extensive research confirming that it could be side vented. We purchased the side vent kit but upon delivery of the dryer we found that the knock-out on the side of the dryer would not knock out at all After frustrating calls to LG we ended up having to purchase a 4 hole saw and making the vent hole in the side that way. We contacted LG and we were promised a response after the complaint was escalated but we still have only received marketing messages wanting us to purchase other products We are pleased with the dryer but disappointed in LG and the customer service and lack of response.

Worst experience ever. I bought it 4 months ago and they already replace the main parts of the dryer. I wouldnt buy it again. At this point I dont know if the dryer I purchased was new or refurbished.

Disappointing product

Unfortunately the dryer has not worked properly since I puchased it. I am currently waiting for a new part to be installed as the programming function is not working - does not dry effectively on all settings machine stops before cycle finishes machine randomly switches itself on and off again. When I first reported the problem the LG technician told me that I needed to shorten the vent hose and clean the filter and that I shouldnt use fabric conditioner. These changes did not fix the issue and I had to report again to LG.

Great Products -- Lousy customer service.

We were very happy with our LG Washer and LG Dryer until we had a flood and both were destroyed. We contacted LG to send out a technician for the washer. That worked fine BUT I have never received an estimate from that tech for replacing/repairing the washer. The dryer experience was the reverse. We had to call not once but twice to get a tech. I had to explain repeatedly what the problem and I had an electrician standing next to me telling them the dryer was properly connected actually was until I finally asked them repeatedly to send out a technician. That technician diagnosed the problem and sent us an estimate for insurance purposes. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE ESTIMATE FROM THE WASHER TECH. I have called multiple times and they just dont get it. I have been without a washer/dryer for 4 weeks now and do not want to buy a new one until the insurance company tells me how much is covered which I cannot determine until I hear from the technician.

Really like the size extra functions

Bought this dryer about a month ago am very pleased with it. My biggest issue is the fact that my son seems to regularly stop by to dry large items that he cant dry in his own dryer. One of the biggest pluses is the steam function. This comes in handy especially for dress clothes that need a fresher items that were stored for seasonal use.

I have to give a star but do not order. 4 days after my purchase the dryer stopped working I spent hours on the phone to fix it and they were unable to fix and needed to replace it. It took over a week to get a replacement and then hours after having the new replacement it quit heating up. Having to send back the matching set to get a whole new set and we are not going with LG this time. Waste of time and money

Its not such thing of energy saver appliances the energy saver mode doesnt dry your clothes also the permanent press that not dry drying either we has to use a heavy dryer mode in order to work if we are lucky Multiple complaints to Costco take forever to get thing done. Costco use a company for repair which is been a nightmare now they going to send another company to do it we purchased the washer and dryer back in May both dont work right Multiple trip to a local laundromat Im done

Really like the dual swing drier door option placement and size of the lint screen and height of the door were 2 deciding factors for us. The washer has a huge capacity quiet great cycle selection
